Security

TaktAI works with a shop’s job and time data. This page explains how we protect it, and how to tell us if you find a security problem.
How we protect your shop’s data
- Job and time data only. TaktAI uses jobs, routings, machines and time records. It never asks for drawings, CAD files or part images.
- Each shop’s data is kept apart from every other shop’s.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Hosted in the United States.
- Only what a question needs goes to an AI provider: the job, operation and machine figures behind the answer. No customer names, drawings or files are sent.
- Your data never trains AI models, for anyone, by TaktAI or by the AI providers it uses.
- Nothing changes without a person’s approval. Schedules, promises to customers and changes to your standards stay drafts until someone on your team approves them.
This website
- It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
- Its fonts and scripts are served from takt-ai.com itself, and a strict content security policy limits what the page is allowed to load and run.
- The demo form is delivered by Formspree. Our privacy notice explains what happens to what you send.
Reporting a security problem
If you think you’ve found a vulnerability in takt-ai.com or in TaktAI, email [email protected] with “Security” in the subject line. Please include:
- what you found and where;
- the steps to reproduce it;
- what someone could do with it.
We’ll acknowledge your report within two business days and keep you updated while we work on it.
Please give us a reasonable chance to fix the problem before telling anyone else, and don’t access, change or delete data that isn’t yours.
Questions from your IT team
